We will provide detailed information to you about your case once you retain us to represent you.

Above all, it is very important that you keep us informed with your current contact information.

There are usually three aspects to any civil case:
(1) pre-litigation, (2) litigation, and (3) trial.

During each of the three phases of a civil case, we will usually be communicating with you in writing, over the phone, or both.

Often, we will need to be able to contact you within 24-48 hours as your case progresses.

If you are planning a vacation or an extended trip, it is very important that you contact our firm to inform us of this fact, and provide us with a way to contact you in case of emergency, especially during the litigation and trial phase.

If and when your case is set for trial by the Court, you will need to ensure that you will be available on the date set for your trial. We will inform you how many days your trial is expected to last.

Many civil cases take a year or more before they are settled or go to trial. You can be assured that we are working on your case, even if you do not hear from us for a length of time. Often times we will only contact you, when we need for you to provide information to us, or you need to appear somewhere for your case. You may always call us for a current status on your case.

We use a computerized law office management system, and a paper file, to constantly keep track of your case.
